Hello! My name’s Therese, and there’s nothing I find quite so cozy on a cool Wisconsin day as firing up my oven and baking a warm batch of cookies.
How it all began . . .
Ever since receiving my first baking book as a child, I dreamed of running my own bakery. As a teen, I loved perusing cookbooks and trying new recipes, and it wasn’t unusual for me to bake multiple desserts almost every day. (Much to my siblings’ delight!)
Not surprisingly, my first real job was at a local bakery . . .
where I ended up working for over ten years, honing my baking skills and producing all kinds of goodies as well as decorating specialty cakes. In fact, I baked and decorated my own wedding cake.
Fast forward fifteen years and five kids later . . .
Whew! Let’s just say I’ve continued to bake more than my fair share of delicious treats for a very demanding crowd. And I certainly know which recipes are the most scrumptious, tried-and-true favorites.
Now I’m thrilled to offer these home-baked treats to you!
